This site, now in its 27th season, is a labour of love and fun from one of Ottawa's most avid time trialists and number crunchers. It adheres to and is permitted by the laws of Canada, promotes the objectives of every bicycle club whose results are shown, and is donated free of charge by myself for your enjoyment and usage. If you would like results from series you ride in to be shown here, give me (celia.mcinnis@gmail.com) a shout!
NOTE that this site had to be quickly moved to a new server with a new version of Perl. Unfortunately the way of interacting with the web form has changed, so I'll have to do some reprogramming to get the buttons and search boxes working. Meanwhile the links work fine and you can always add query specifications into the URL! :-)

A little light rain and cool temperatures may have scared away hundreds of time trialists tonight, but an undauntable collection of 7 men and 7 women arrived enthusiastic to do the event. Ok, that's a slight exaggeration - we had to do a bit of a sales job to entice Louise to do it on her heavy commuting mountain bike! Anyway, in conditions such as this, the most common question is "What, oh what, should I wear to the proceedings?", and the advice, not all taken, might have been among other things, "Long sleeves", "Sneakers if that's all you've got here", "Not light coloured jeans if you're the bike holder", "Metuzal's shoes", "Kathy's aero helmet if you ride a mountain bike", and "A flashing red rear light".

All foolishness aside, there were no season/series bests tonight, but four riders exceeded 95% of their 2006 OTT previous best cube speed. You may see a graph of these people's 2006 OTT results by clicking here, and that for the rest of us by clicking there. Congratulations to Greg for his 1st place finish and to Sue for finishing 2nd overall, 22 seconds behind Greg. This was Sue's closest finish to Greg thus far this year.
